This policy explains the data Meliora processes when you visit meliora.art, sign in and participate in the community, and the choices you have about your personal data.
1. Information you provide
When you sign in with Google, Meliora receives information used to authenticate you and create your profile, such as your Google identifier, email, email verification status, name and profile picture. We also store information you choose to add, including your username, bio, location, cover image and custom avatar.
2. Community content and activity
Meliora stores posts, comments, uploaded images or videos, and activities such as likes, saved posts, votes, following games and members, community membership and check-ins. Activity data supports community features, statistics and information relevant to your interests.
3. How we use data
We use data to authenticate users, manage accounts, display profiles and content, carry out requested interactions, operate the community and improve the experience. Necessary data is also processed to protect the system, handle violations, support users and resolve account requests.
4. Cookies and device storage
Meliora uses a sign-in session cookie to recognize your account. Your browser may store theme and language preferences, post drafts, app installation preferences and temporary feature data. You can clear cookies and website data in your browser; this may sign you out, remove unsent drafts and reset preferences. Signing out does not necessarily clear all data stored on a shared device.
5. Public information
Profiles, posts, comments and publicly displayed interactions may be viewed or shared by others and indexed by search engines. Your sign-in email is not a public profile field. Avoid publishing sensitive information or other people’s data without permission; copies made by others may remain outside Meliora after you remove the original.
6. Third-party services
Meliora uses supporting services such as Google sign-in, Google Fonts, storage and content delivery infrastructure; GIF features may use GIPHY. When your browser connects to these services or loads external content, providers may receive technical data such as your IP address and browser information under their own policies. Necessary data may be processed by infrastructure providers in different locations to operate the service.
7. Retention and security
Data is retained as needed to operate accounts and features, handle requests, protect the system or meet applicable obligations. We apply safeguards appropriate to the system, but no method of storage or transmission guarantees absolute security. Some backups or logs may require additional time for deletion under operational procedures.
8. Your choices and requests
You can edit your profile, manage posts and interactions through available features, and control browser storage. To request access, correction or deletion of data, or to close your account, email the address below. We may need to verify account ownership before processing requests and will explain if any data must be retained under applicable obligations.
9. Policy updates
This policy may change as features, providers or data processing practices change. The latest update date appears at the top of this page; important changes will be announced on the platform. Contact Meliora with questions about the current version or how your data is handled.
